We stayed 4 nights in a 31′ travel trailer that was easy to maneuver thru the park and get into the space. ![]() Located right off the 295 freeway for super easy access. Safe to walk our dogs around at night inside the park. The other campers were clean, quiet and polite. There is a nice path around the lake you can walk or jog, some swimming areas with water slides, a stage for music on Saturday nights, a small café where everyone plays bingo on Thursdays (food is greasy and not good at all), laundry room and nice clean bathrooms. Sadly nobody else ever brought their dogs in to play. They have a clean dog park inside that we let our pups run around in every day. 50 per night with Good Sam or AAA discount) that still had a nice view of the lake. The spaces for RV’s are nicely spaced and not on top of each other. Clean and well maintained with lots of grass and shade/pine trees. I can’t say that I would not stay here again, the park is nice, it’s just the surrounding area (and Jacksonville) that I did not like. They play bingo Tues & Thurs at the café but there hasn’t been much other organized things to do. The path around the park is great for walking, there is a café but we never chose to eat there. The beaches were nice and they were setting up floating slides in anticipation for spring break. Half the park is paved and half is gravel. The spot was gravel, there are some paved spots. The parking spots were too close together as we could not extend our awing fully because we were so close to our neighbors. It was a beautiful view out our front window. We stayed here for one month (Feb 14 th-March 15 th) and paid a monthly rate right on the lake front. ![]()
